Who are we?
This website is provided by Loading Bay Doors, a trading name of S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd, company no. 16932889, registered office Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG, part of the S&K Group. Any contract for work is with S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd.
Business customers
We supply and install loading bay equipment for businesses. Our prices are shown excluding VAT, which is added at the standard rate. Consumer cancellation rights for distance and off-premises contracts do not apply to business contracts.
Guide prices and quotes
- Guide prices on this website and in the guide price tool are budget ranges for typical jobs. They are not offers and do not form a contract.
- For new installations, replacements, upgrades and conversions we provide a free site survey and a written quote. The written quote sets out the specification, price, payment terms, any deposit, programme assumptions and how long the quote is valid.
- New pits, pit repairs, groundworks, structural alterations and electrical supplies are included only where the quote says so.
- Repair and service visits are chargeable. The visit price is agreed in writing before anyone attends, and any further work or parts are quoted for your approval before they are fitted.
Your responsibilities on site
Unless the quote says otherwise, you provide safe access to the working area, the bay taken out of use while we work, a suitable power supply where required, and information about the site that affects safety, such as asbestos registers, traffic management rules and permits to work.
Warranties
Equipment comes with the manufacturer's warranty. Our workmanship terms are set out in writing in the quote. Warranties do not cover damage from vehicle impact, misuse, lack of maintenance or alterations by others.
Using this website
